Amaranth Fund-Raiser Cruise Drawing

The drawing for the Amaranth Fund-raiser Cruise beginning December 7, 2008 was held in Laurens September 13 and the winner was our own Honored Lady Jo Alloy.  There are spaces still available and we're looking forward to having a fun-filled time with our friends, families on a beautiful ship. Camp Adam Fisher  

On August 1, 2008 a good time was had by all who attended Camp Adam Fisher -  Approximately 25 Amaranth members and 35 camp children and their counselors joined together in celebrating 'learning to enjoy eating' , giving of gifts to the children (John Deere lunchboxes, necklaces, stuffed animals and peanuts) and Amaranth being entertained by counselors - the twins - and others who were previously campers themselves.  The children danced onstage and had us singing and clapping right along with them.

 
Seeing these kids confirms that we as Amaranth members are fortunate that we can help in raising money for meeting the challenges of diabetes and for diabetes research.  UNTIL NEXT YEAR...
